I freaking hate bananas. I never want to see another dang banana pic again. 

Like it or not, clearly many of you hated my theme. That’s besides the point. This was my blog. I am very random. That is who I am. 

I hope I made some of you smile, perhaps even entertained a little? 

Really all in all are we all not just monkey’s typing on a typewriter? Oh you didn’t realize there was purpose to my monkey madness.

Reading your blogs made me smile.

It’s been quite a semester, although I am glad for it to be done, I will miss this class. There are some wonderful people, and I feel like we have been granted an opportunity to learn more about one another in a more intimate way than in so many other classes we do not. 

For all those who are interested my horror blog is up and running http://lilbanne.tumblr.com/ I will have started another personal blog, I was a blogger before, and I will likely be a blogger always. My opinion matters damnit!

Chocolate Banana Cupcakes - Thanks alohakiora!

• 2 ripe bananas, mashed, about ≤ cup 
•  175 mL buttermilk ≤ cup
•  175 mL packed brown sugar ≤ cup
•  60 mL Western Family honey π cup
•  45 mL Western Family canola oil 3 tbsp
•  10 mL vanilla extract 2 tsp
•  250 mL Western Family all-purpose fl our 1 cup
•  175 mL Western Family whole wheat fl our ≤ cup
•  60 mL unsweetened cocoa powder π cup
•  5 mL baking soda 1 tsp
•  2 mL salt π tsp
•  60 mL Western Family semi-sweet π cup chocolate chips

 


1. Preheat oven to 400ºF (200ºC). Spray 12 muffin tins with nonstick cooking spray.   

2. In a large bowl, combine bananas, buttermilk, sugar, honey, oil and vanilla.  

3. In another bowl, stir together flours, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Add to banana mixture and stir until just moistened and combined.  

4. Spoon muffi n batter into muffin cups and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cupcakes cool in pan before removing.
